A Promotional Giveaway for the Christmas Seasons?

Marketing is all about differentiating your product from your competitors. You want to be seen as the only logical viable solution to your target audience’s headaches and problems. Once they have your product, utilize your service, their woos are all gone.
However, most stuffs are losing their uniqueness and relegating to commodities because of fast invention and quick innovation. What can you do to stand out of the crowd and shout above the noise? Even you have differentiated yourself as having that “one of the million” wonderful product with the best pre-sale, during-sale and post-sale services, how do you make your customers remember you? More importantly, remembering you very fondly and favorably? With so many merchants rushing for the Christmas pie, you don’t want to be scouring for just the leftover crumbs.
One of the simplest, and most obvious way is to give your customers something that’s aesthetically pleasing and functionally friendly. You can also select company promotional items for business partners and supporters as well. Many companies would give souvenirs and year-end giveaways to clients, customers, investors and business partners but they don’t do so to their vendors. There’s every good reason you should show your appreciation to vendors who have been supporting you. What will happen if you don’t have their assistance?
Though pens, mugs and umbrella could be good looking, useful and cost-effective, you are better off giving something that’s more unique. Of course, unless your event theme is relevant to pens, mugs and umbrella. For example, giving an umbrella during a golf party is relevant and thoughtful. But pen will be a yawn. Spend a little time going through the gift brochure to get some ideas or give the gift company a call. They might even conceptualize and customize a special promotional item if you got a healthy budget.
Christmas is round the corner. If you haven’t think about year-end souvenirs and giveaways, you better start doing now or you will get a “Sorry, we’ve run out of stock” answer.
