Not Too Early To Think of Christmas

Ad agencies and design houses are already working on Christmas campaigns now. Have you started planning your year-end marketing campaign? If not, be on your double and start cracking on it now.
We marketers are always excited about special events and festive seasons because this is the time where buying and selling are at a frenzy stage. This is the time where we expect an increase of sales, a higher sales margin and a fatter sales revenue. Christmas is one high season that no sane marketers will ignore. Having that said, seasonal marketing can be done all year round. There is always a reason, or an excuse, to celebrate.
As consumers, we like seasonal marketing too. This is a time that we cannot, and don’t want to, avoid spending. We have loved ones to please and impress. So we are hooked to the baits of coupons, vouchers and “special offers” advertisements like bees to honey. Much as we like to get great presents, we like saving money and getting irresistible offers from merchants.
What are you offering to your customers this Christmas as a marketer? What are you buying for Christmas as a consumer? No idea? Take a cue from the folks at couponchief.com. Even mums will approve gifts and offers like these:
- The Hallmark deals are great -I can get 24 premium roses with one full size Hallmark card at only $34.95! This is a steal, especially with the roses look so fresh and beautiful. I would order them for mum before going over for my turkey dinner. Those red roses would sit well with her embroidered white tablecloth.
- The Vitacost coupons are useful for the health conscious. For example, one of the coupon can get you 49% off calcium products
The fact that shopping online is easy-peasy made such offers simply irresistible. Just choose the gifts, enter the promo codes, verify the expected the expected savings prior to completing the checkout process and all is done.
As marketers, we like making big bucks during festive seasons. As consumers, we love the joy of shopping and saving. So whether you are reading this as a marketer or consumer, start thinking what you can do with seasonal marketing now.
Actually, come to think of it, have you started to think of Halloween? It’s round the corner, even closer than Christmas.
