Selling 10,000 Books on A Horse?
Jun 6th, 2007 by MAT
To shout above the noise, we need to do something that can generate lots of attention.
I did not attend the National Achiever Congress held in Singapore this year. What I heard was, there was this Indonesia guy who sold more than 10,000 books on his launch day. Anyone who has written a book would tell you that it is no mean feat. In fact, only the “Harry Potter” books managed to gallop past “Financial Revolution”(the book we are talking about).
What did Tung Desem Waringin do? He rode on a burly horse through the financial districts of Jarkata with his “Financial Revolution” book clearly in sight. Can you imagine how the media would chase after the dark knight on a white horse? According to the grapewine, he gave the journalists and photographers a sumpteous treat after the sweaty exercise. He is a protege of marketing superman, Jay Abraham and motivation guru, Anthony Robbins. Probably that’s how he got the unusual idea of riding a horse to sell books. Go check out what else he did and how he looked riding on a horse at this blog. It even features highlights of his talk.
